Environmental Consultant Technician

At Marlex, we are collaborating with a specialized environmental consultancy and technical assistance engineering firm, which is currently looking for a GIS Technician - Environmental Engineering / Consultancy to join their team on a permanent basis in León.

This is a technical position linked to the management and analysis of geographic information applied to engineering projects, large infrastructures, and environmental consultancy, participating in high-impact projects and working with territorial and environmental information.

What will your mission be in the company?

You will be part of the company's technical team, participating in the preparation, analysis, and management of geographic information associated with different engineering and environmental consultancy projects.

Your main mission will be to provide technical support to projects through the processing and analysis of spatial data, the preparation of cartography, and the management of territorial information, contributing to the correct environmental planning and monitoring of projects.

Among your main functions will be:

· Preparation and updating of thematic and environmental cartography associated with engineering and infrastructure projects.

· Management, processing, and analysis of geographic information and spatial data.

· Use of GIS tools for the representation, analysis, and exploitation of territorial information.

· Integration and processing of different sources of geographic information.

· Preparation of plans, maps, and graphic documentation for environmental projects and studies.

· Analysis of territorial and environmental constraints using GIS tools.

· Support in the preparation of environmental impact studies, environmental documents, and territorial studies.

· Management and updating of geographic databases.

· Review and control of the cartographic and documentary information generated in the projects.

· Support to the technical team in the environmental analysis of projects linked to large infrastructures.

· Preparation of technical documentation for projects and for their presentation before agencies and administrations.

· Coordination with different technical profiles within the projects.

· Monitoring the evolution of projects and compliance with established deadlines.
