What we're looking for

- At least 6 months of experience in laboratory work within the field of plant health (with an employment and/or academic contract)
- Valid Type B driver's license in Spain
- From 6 months to 2 years of experience in professional laboratories, from an employment and/or academic standpoint (with an employment and/or academic contract)
- From 6 months to 2 years of experience in laboratory work within the field of plant health: sample processing, analytics... (with an employment and/or academic contract)
Nice to have
- Formal training or accreditation of knowledge of the UNE-EN-ISO/IEC 17025 Standard
- Specific training in the laboratory and/or pharmacy field.
Education & certifications
- You possess a Vocational Training II degree or Higher Level Vocational Training degree in the professional families of Health, Chemistry, Food Industries, Safety and Environment, Agricultural, and/or Maritime-fishery (degree officially recognized in Spain or a certificate of equivalence issued by the General Secretariat of Universities).

Laboratory Technician - Plant Health (Zaragoza, Montañana)
What you'll do
- Reception of samples, laboratory material, and reagents, and pre-treatment operations
- Processing and analysis of field survey samples
- DNA extraction for bacteria, nematodes, and fungi
- PCR preparation for the analysis of bacteria, phytoplasmas, nematodes, and fungi
- ELISA preparation for the analysis of viruses and bacteria

WE OFFER:
- A fixed-term contract of approximately 1 month, with the option of extension if applicable and subject to the maximum duration limits established in current labour legislation for each type of contract. The type and duration of the contract will depend on the reason for hiring, the project, and the circumstances of the selected candidate(s).
- Full-time schedule of 37.5 hours.
