Laboratory Technician - Registration

• From 3 months to 1 year of experience in sample reception activities and their initial processing in a Laboratory (experience with employment contract and/or academic experience) (This will be verified during technical assessment)
• From 3 months to 1 year of experience in registration, identification, and ensuring sample traceability (experience with employment contract and/or academic experience) (This will be verified during technical assessment)
• From 3 months to 1 year of experience in customer service for users and sample senders to laboratories and incident resolution (experience with employment contract and/or academic experience) (This will be verified during technical assessment)
• From 3 months to 1 year of experience in handling and processing samples in biological safety cabinets (experience with employment contract and/or academic experience) (This will be verified during technical assessment)
• From 3 months to 1 year of experience in performing diagnostic techniques, microbiology, molecular biology, and immunology of biological samples (experience with employment contract and/or academic experience) (This will be verified during technical assessment)
• From 3 months to 1 year of experience in the preparation of culture media and reagents (experience with employment contract and/or academic experience) (This will be verified during technical assessment)
• From 3 months to 1 year of experience in the calibration of laboratory equipment (experience with employment contract and/or academic experience) (This will be verified during technical assessment)
• From 3 months to 1 year of experience in laboratory work under the EN ISO/IEC 17025 quality standard for the accreditation of testing laboratories (experience with employment contract and/or academic experience) (This will be verified during technical assessment)
• From 3 months to 1 year of experience in data management, records, Excel, and other databases (experience with employment contract and/or academic experience) (This will be verified during technical assessment)

• Accredited training related to the quality field; we value those courses or certificates in quality management systems, quality regulations and standards, audits, process management, or related fields.

• Possession of a Vocational Training II (FP II) degree or Higher Level Vocational Training degree in the professional families of Health, Chemistry, Food Industries, Safety and Environment, Agricultural and/or Maritime-fishery (degree must be officially recognized in Spain).

Laboratory Technician - Registration (Madrid)

Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary company of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in performing engineering, consulting, and technical assistance activities in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental matters, is looking to hire 1 Laboratory Technician to perform technical work in the National reference laboratories for Animal and Plant Health in Madrid.

• Reception, registration, and initial processing of samples according to standardized laboratory protocols, ensuring their traceability and correct handling.
• Planning and distribution of samples to diagnostic departments.
• Documentary support in reports, filing, registration, and the obtaining and management of reports.
• Customer service for internal and external users, incident management, and other quality tasks under the 17025 standard of the accredited Laboratory.
• Other horizontal tasks and good laboratory practices, equipment calibration, cleaning, waste and material management, and performing techniques if applicable.

• We offer:
  
  - a fixed-term contract of approximately 6 months, with the option of extension if applicable and respecting the maximum duration limits established in the current labor legislation for each contractual modality. The typology and duration of the contract will depend on the reason for hiring, the project, and the circumstances of the selected person/s.
  
  - In the event that an internship/training contract is formalized, the degree provided by the candidate must be related to the tasks of the offered position, performing activities specific to the degree to which their internship contract is linked, allowing them to obtain professional practice appropriate to the level of studies completed.
  
  - Full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
