The role

At ySondos we are looking for a qualified Technician in Chemical Plant or Power Plants to join a major industrial company located in Trubia (Asturias).

What you'll do

You will carry out the rounds corresponding to each shift, checking the status of the facility's equipment and recording the necessary data in the work reports.
You will perform water analysis, both for boiler feed water and steam, as well as controls related to Legionella.
You will provide support to the Control Room Operator in first-level maintenance tasks.
You will communicate any incident or breakdown you detect during your shift to the Control Room Operator.
You will collaborate with the technical team on different maintenance tasks.
You will correctly use the work equipment and the corresponding PPE, keeping tools and spaces in good condition.
You will ensure the order and cleanliness of the facilities.
You will become familiar with the SCADA system used for industrial process control.
You will follow work procedures and the instructions of your supervisors.

What do we expect from you?

Possession of Vocational Training in Chemical Plant or in Power Plants. Or in its place, some of the following professional certificates: Management of operation in thermoelectric power plants, Thermoelectric power plant operator, or Operations in energy systems and auxiliary services.
Possession of the official title of Industrial Boiler Operator.
Desire to learn and develop professionally in an industrial environment.
Interest in control, monitoring, and sampling tasks.
Responsibility, attention to detail, and observational skills.
Commitment to safety and compliance with work procedures.
Availability to work on 6-4 ecological shifts.
