What we're looking for

A proven track record in strategic procurement and supplier management within complex multinational organizations, including supplier lifecycle management and category governance.
A proven track record in leading cross-functional transformation or procurement excellence initiatives.
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
Excellent skills in stakeholder management and influencing senior leadership in global environments.
Excellent skills in data analytics, reporting, and procurement systems.
Strong competencies in process governance and change management, with a collaborative approach.
Strong competencies in strategic thinking and structured problem-solving, with a collaborative approach.
Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; additional languages will be valued.

The role

Horse Powertrain Ltd is an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero.

Horse Powertrain has 19,000 dedicated and determined employees, working in 17 manufacturing plants, and 5 R&D centers on three continents.

This role is employed by Horse Powertrain and is based in Madrid, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain's other sites.

What you'll do

Own and govern global Supplier Lifecycle Management and Strategic Category Panel Management processes.
Define and deploy policies, governance models, standards, methodologies, and KPIs.
Develop and execute global roadmaps aligned with Procurement strategy and business objectives.
Lead supplier onboarding, qualification, segmentation, performance, development, and exit frameworks.
Drive supplier panel strategy, optimization, competitiveness, resilience, innovation, and sustainability initiatives.
Enable data-driven decision-making through analytics, reporting, digital tools, and governance frameworks.
Lead cross-functional transformation, change management, and capability development initiatives.
Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure process compliance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
