The role

Title: Supply Chain Intern

Department: Global Supply Chain - Valencia Office

Location: Valencia, Spain

Type of Contract: Internship, with opportunity to transition to a permanent position

Working model: On-site

Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl. SUPO, where required)

Why this role matters

As an R&D Supply Chain Intern, you help keep an aerospace R&D project in Valencia supplied with the parts, materials and services it needs to move forward. In a supply chain built around specialised components, long lead times and a limited supplier base, every RFQ sent on time and every delay caught early protects the project schedule. This is a real seat on a real programme, not a shadowing exercise. You will learn how flight-grade hardware actually gets sourced, from engineering requirement to delivered part, with experienced colleagues alongside you.

What you'll do

  • Support the sourcing of components, parts and services across our supplier base, working alongside engineering, production and procurement

  • Help translate engineering requirements into RFQs and supplier evaluations, learning how technical specifications become commercial decisions

  • Monitor deliveries, follow up with suppliers on delays, and keep the team updated on order status

  • Help spot supply risks early, including long lead times, single sources and obsolescence, and support the search for alternatives

  • Support the R&D project in Valencia as needs and requirements change, adapting quickly alongside the team
