Requirements

What we're looking for

Knowledge of metrology.
Training related to Quality, Metrology, Mechanics, Mechanical Manufacturing, or similar.
Knowledge of measuring instruments and equipment.
Ability to interpret drawings and dimensional tolerances.
Previous experience in positions related to Quality and/or Metrology will be valued, although it is not essential.

Proactive attitude and motivation to learn and develop within the Quality area.

Nice to have

Although previous experience in the area will be positively valued, it is not an essential requirement. We will also consider candidates with little experience, provided they have a good knowledge base in Metrology and the desire to continue learning and developing professionally.

The role

From our Durango office, we are looking to recruit a person for the Quality Department of a major company in the automotive sector, located in the Bergara area. The selected person will primarily carry out their functions in the Metrology area.

What you'll do

The functions you would develop are the following:

Perform and manage dimensional measurements and controls.
Handle measuring equipment and instruments and ensure their correct operation.
Participate in the management and control of measuring equipment.
Collaborate in the planning and monitoring of equipment calibrations and verifications.
Record and analyze the results obtained in the measurements.
Participate in the quality control of parts, components, and processes.
Collaborate in the identification and analysis of possible quality deviations and incidents.
Keep documentation and records related to quality and metrology up to date.
Provide support to the Quality Department in the tasks specific to the area.
