Internal Control Technician

*University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or similar.

•Knowledge of corporate risk management methodologies and internal control design.

•Experience in the preparation and monitoring of risk maps and matrices.

•Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

•Multidisciplinary, analytical, and decisive profile, with the capacity to work transversally with different areas of the organization.

•Capacity to identify problems, propose solutions, and monitor their implementation.

•Master's degree or specialized training in Financial Audit, Statutory Audit, Risk, or Internal Control is valued.

We are selecting a Technician for an Internal Control vacancy in a company located in Valencia.

Functions:

• Identification and assessment of financial, operational, and other nature risks associated with the company's various internal processes.

• Preparation, updating, and monitoring of risk maps and matrices.

• Identification of possible control weaknesses and definition of corrective and preventive measures.

•Design, maintenance, and review of internal controls over critical processes.

•Definition and monitoring of indicators, alerts, and monitoring systems for the early detection of possible risks.

• Proposal of measures for the mitigation of identified risks and monitoring of their implementation.

•Monitoring of the implementation of action plans and corrective measures derived from audits, internal or external reviews.

•Surveillance and monitoring of compliance with the Group's policies, procedures, and internal regulations.

• Participation in the review and improvement of internal processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency.

•Coordination and collaboration with the different business areas to reinforce the control environment and risk management.

•Preparation of reports and periodic reporting on risks, controls, incidents, and action plans.

•Preparation and presentation of results to Management and other governing bodies when appropriate.
