The role

JG INGENIEROS We are an engineering company specialized in the development of multidisciplinary projects of high technical value. We participate in national and international projects in sectors such as building, industry, energy, and infrastructure, committing to innovation, digitalization, and collaborative work.

Join the BIM modeling team of the Electricity Department at JG Ingenieros and develop your professional career by participating in international reference projects for highly complex buildings!

Are you passionate about BIM modeling and do you enjoy solving technical challenges in electrical and communications installations for highly complex buildings?

At JG Ingenieros, leaders in the design and management of installations for highly complex buildings, we are looking to hire a BIM modeler specialized in electrical installations to integrate into our global engineering team and participate in national and international projects from our offices in Spain and Peru.

What you'll do

  • Model electrical installations in Revit (trays, conduits, power outlets and feed points, lighting...) based on the sketches and guidelines defined by the discipline technicians and the BIM coordinator.
  • Enter the technical parameters associated with each element and proceed with the calculations directly associated with the modeling through native Revit tools and/or the company's own tools integrated with the model.
  • Coordinate the model with the rest of the installations, architecture, and structure, detecting and resolving interferences.
  • Generate and maintain elements and families specific to the electrical specialty, guaranteeing their quality, parameterization, and standardization.
  • Automate repetitive modeling tasks using Dynamo in daily operations or other more stable tools for replicable solutions to other projects, contributing to the continuous improvement of quality and competitiveness.
  • Perform the final layout of the projects (presentations, labeling, schematic diagrams, details, and plans).
  • Lead and supervise the modeling process of external collaborating teams.
  • Participate in the different phases of the project: basic project, executive project, and construction documentation.

How do we work?

Our modelers play a fundamental role in every project, collaborating closely with electrical engineers and other disciplines to develop accurate, coordinated models aligned with the project's schedule, cost, and quality objectives.

We work using BIM environments and advanced calculation tools, integrating digitalization and automation and progressively incorporating Artificial Intelligence into our workflows to achieve more efficient, sustainable, and reliable projects.

Skills

  • Initiative, responsibility, and organization.
