Solid experience in virtualization and private cloud with VMware vSphere/VMware Cloud Foundation, OpenStack, or Red Hat Virtualization.
Advanced knowledge in on-premise Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, or VMware Tanzu.
Experience in Linux systems (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu, or SUSE) and bare-metal server administration.

We want to recruit a Chief Engineer Private Cloud and IT Infrastructure with experience in private cloud architectures, virtualization, automation, and critical infrastructures to join projects involving technological evolution, data center modernization, and the deployment of high-availability private cloud platforms.

What you'll do

Define the high- and low-level architecture of private cloud environments, selecting the most suitable computing, storage, and network technology stack.
Technically lead complex projects involving migration, data center consolidation, and the deployment of new hyper-converged infrastructures (HCI) and SDDC.
Design and establish technical standards, Disaster Recovery (DR) policies, and Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
Supervise the implementation and evolution of virtualization, software-defined storage (SDS), and software-defined networking (SDN) solutions.
Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and management.
Guarantee compliance with availability, performance, security, and monitoring requirements in critical infrastructures.
