What you'll do
- Technically lead the program, acting as the highest engineering authority and technical reference for customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Define, integrate, and evolve the system architecture and its main subsystems.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams in a matrix environment, fostering collaboration across Program, Engineering, Production, Quality, Procurement, and ISS.
- Ensure proper management and traceability of technical, regulatory, certification, and security requirements.
- Lead technical reviews, configuration management, change control, and resolution of critical issues.
- Manage technical risks, defining mitigation plans and ensuring the technological and industrial maturity of solutions.
- Define technical milestones, deliverables, and acceptance criteria for the program.
- Actively participate in technical planning and project monitoring.
- Represent the technical position of the program with customers, certification bodies, strategic suppliers, and partners.
- Ensure proper integration of hardware, software, and embedded systems technologies, as well as industrialization.
💡 What will you do?
We are looking for a Chief Engineer to technically lead the HSPN program, taking overall responsibility for technical decisions and ensuring the balance between performance, cost, risks, schedule, and industrialization throughout the entire system lifecycle.
📍 Location: Torrejón de Ardoz
✅ Education
Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
✅ Minimum experience
Consolidated experience in technical leadership roles within complex engineering programs, preferably in the Defense sector or critical systems.

- Systems engineering and architecture of complex systems.
- Integration of multidisciplinary systems.
- Product lifecycle management.
- Requirements management and technical traceability.
- Configuration management and change control.
