We want to recruit a Decision Intelligence Scientist - Wargaming & COA Analysis with experience in decision analysis, probabilistic modeling, advanced simulation, and applied game theory to join projects involving the development of advanced quantitative models to support the evaluation of courses of action (COA), analytical wargaming, and strategic decision-making in complex and uncertain environments.

💡 What will you do?

• Design and develop advanced decision models for the analysis and evaluation of courses of action (COA) in complex operational environments.
• Apply Decision Intelligence methodologies, MCDA/MCDM, and multi-attribute utility functions to support decision-making processes under uncertainty.
• Develop stochastic simulations using Monte Carlo techniques, MDPs, discrete event simulation, and search/decision trees.
• Design and execute analytical and experiential wargaming exercises, evaluating scenarios, strategies, and second-order effects.
• Build models based on game theory to analyze competitive dynamics, cooperation, deterrence, and escalation.
• Develop causal models, Bayesian networks, and probabilistic systems for risk estimation and decision support.
• Implement scientific models and algorithms in Python using optimization, simulation, and statistical analysis libraries.
• Perform sensitivity analysis, model validation, and ensure the reproducibility of results.
• Contribute to ontological modeling and knowledge structuring through knowledge graphs and ontologies.
• Participate in European R&D projects related to defense, cybersecurity, modeling, and simulation.
