Infrastructure Senior - Linux

As a leading company in the defense sector, we want to strengthen our team with an Infrastructure Senior for the Cyberdefense unit, focused on the implementation, operation and evolution of hybrid technological infrastructures with a focus on performance, resilience, and scalability.

💡 What will you do?

• Design the deployment and operation of hybrid infrastructures (on-premise and cloud).
• Administer advanced Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu or equivalents).
• Manage and operate container platforms (OpenShift and Kubernetes).
• Administer and optimize virtualized environments with VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter).
• Design and operate infrastructure in AWS environments.
• Manage hardware (servers, storage, and physical networking).
• Design, operate, and resolve incidents in complex networks.
• Automate infrastructure and configurations using scripting (Bash, Python) and tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting at the system, network, and infrastructure level.
• Drive continuous improvement in complex and critical environments.

✅ Minimum of 5 years of experience in the implementation and operation of hybrid and on-premise infrastructures.
✅ Extensive knowledge of advanced Linux administration (booting, GRUB, systemd, processes, memory, filesystem, networking).
✅ Experience with networks in Linux environments (bonding, bridging, VLANs) and security (users, permissions, SELinux/AppArmor).
✅ Experience with physical hardware (Dell, HPE, or other servers) and storage (RAID, SAN, NAS).
✅ Solid knowledge of virtualization with VMware (HA, DRS, virtual networks).
✅ Experience with container platforms (OpenShift and Kubernetes, networking and storage).
✅ Experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, EBS, S3) and hybrid architectures.
✅ Knowledge of networks: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, NAT, VPN, segmentation, and firewalls.
✅ Experience in automation and scripting (Bash and Python).
✅ Advanced troubleshooting skills in systems and infrastructure.
✅ Availability to work on-site in Madrid.

En nuestro posicionamiento como compañía líder en el ámbito de defensa, queremos reforzar nuestro equipo con un/a Infrastructure Senior para la unidad de Ciberdefensa, orientado/a a la implantación, operación y evolución de infraestructuras tecnológicas híbridas con foco en rendimiento, resiliencia y escalabilidad.

💡 ¿Qué harás?

• Diseñar el despliegue y la operación de infraestructuras híbridas (on-premise y cloud).
• Administrar sistemas Linux avanzados (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu o equivalentes).
• Gestionar y operar plataformas de contenedores (OpenShift y Kubernetes).
• Administrar y optimizar entornos virtualizados con VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter).
• Diseñar y operar infraestructura en entornos AWS.
• Gestionar hardware (servidores, almacenamiento y networking físico).
• Diseñar, operar y resolver incidencias en redes complejas.
• Automatizar infraestructura y configuraciones mediante scripting (Bash, Python) y herramientas como Terraform o Pulumi.
• Realizar troubleshooting avanzado a nivel de sistema, red e infraestructura.
• Impulsar la mejora continua en entornos complejos y críticos.

✅ Experiencia mínima de 5 años en implementación y operación de infraestructuras híbridas y on‑premise.
✅ Amplio conocimiento en administración avanzada de Linux (arranque, GRUB, systemd, procesos, memoria, filesystem, networking).
✅ Experiencia en redes en entornos Linux (bonding, bridging, VLANs) y seguridad (usuarios, permisos, SELinux/AppArmor).
✅ Experiencia con hardware físico (servidores Dell, HPE u otros) y almacenamiento (RAID, SAN, NAS).
✅ Conocimiento sólido en virtualización con VMware (HA, DRS, redes virtuales).
✅ Experiencia en plataformas de contenedores (OpenShift y Kubernetes, networking y storage).
