  • If you are an RF & Antenna EngineerExperience in RF and antenna engineering, including link budget calculations, active antenna development and RF laboratory work.
  • Strong knowledge of beamforming techniques and advanced antenna architectures such as tapering and nulling.
  • Experience calculating and simulating antenna radiation patterns.
  • Proficiency with RF simulation tools such as CST Studio Suite and Ansys HFSS.
  • Experience with communication buses and interfaces such as SPI, MIL-STD-1553, I2C and UART.
  • Experience developing ad hoc communication products for different customer needs.

If you are a Physical Layer Design Engineer

  • Software-Defined Radio (SDR) communication systems, including waveform and data-link design and implementation.
  • Digital Signal Processing (DSP), including modulation techniques, channel coding, synchronization, equalization, etc.
  • VHDL development for digital communication systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Experience in digital hardware design and implementation using FPGAs and DSPs.
  • Experience with MPSoC and RFSoC devices, RF transceivers, and related technologies.
  • Radio communication and SATCOM terminal architectures.

If you are a Protocol Engineer

  • Layer 2 and Layer 3 routing protocols.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networks.
  • Medium Access Control (MAC) techniques for wireless networks.
  • Knowledge of radio communication and SATCOM systems.
  • Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs).
  • Knowledge of network validation and simulation tools such as Wireshark, GNS3, OMNeT++, NS-2, Mininet, etc.
  • Programming languages: C/C++, MATLAB, Python.
  • Linux knowledge and experience.
  • Dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, OLSR, MPLS, BGP, RIP, etc.).
  • Medium Access Control (MAC) protocols and techniques (TDMA, CSMA, etc.).
  • Technical knowledge of communication protocols and technologies such as GSM, TETRA, 3G, 4G and 5G.
  • Experience in software development for Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
  • Experience in software development on Linux platforms.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of DO-160, DO-178 and DO-254 standards.
  • Experience with engineering tools such as IBM Engineering DOORS and Enterprise Architect.
  • Experience working in Scrum or Agile environments.

We are looking for an RF & Antenna Engineer to join our teams in Barcelona or Madrid, contributing to the design, development and validation of advanced active antenna and datalink communication solutions.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop and validate active antennas for datalink applications.
  • Apply beamforming techniques and support the definition of next-generation antenna architectures, including tapering and nulling.
  • Design and implement Physical Layer for custom waveforms.
  • Design and protocols for layer 2 and layer 3 of custom waveforms as well.
  • Calculate and simulate antenna radiation patterns using specialist RF tools.
  • Plan and execute laboratory activities using dedicated test equipment and instrumentation.
  • Contribute to the development of ad hoc communication products tailored to different customer requirements.
