Requirements

In our positioning as a leading company in the defense sector, we want to strengthen our team with a Senior Data Architect - Metadata & Data Quality to expand our team in Barcelona, covering different specialties within data: governance, quality, and pipeline design in critical environments.

What you'll do

  • Define and evolve robust data architectures in critical environments, ensuring scalability, traceability, and security.
  • Design end-to-end data pipelines, from ingestion to analytical exploitation, including batch and streaming processing.
  • Establish data governance models, including metadata, catalog, lineage, and quality controls.
  • Define and implement data quality rules, validations, monitoring, and remediation mechanisms.
  • Collaborate on defining logical and physical models, as well as data contracts and exchange rules.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and traceability across distributed, hybrid, or cloud architectures.
  • Coordinate with development, data, architecture, security, and business teams to ensure end-to-end coherence.
  • Oversee the evolution of data platforms, promoting best practices, automation, and performance optimization.
  • Participate in technical decisions and solution reviews in data lake, data warehouse, data mesh, or data fabric environments.
