  • Transformative Impact: Proven success leading legacy-to-cloud data migrations and deploying production-grade AI/ML pipelines at scale.
  • Project Mastery: 10+ years managing large, complex projects in global environments, adept at Agile methodologies.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of modern data stacks (e.g., Azure, Databricks), MLOps, Cloud architectures (AWS/Azure), and core insurance systems (e.g., Guidewire, Salesforce).

Education & certifications

  • A Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or an MBA with a strong quantitative focus.
  • Fluent in English; French or Spanish is a valuable plus.

At AXA Partners, you'll step into a pivotal role as our Chief Data Officer, spearheading a global data evolution. You'll transform traditional insurance data architecture into a cutting-edge, AI-driven ecosystem, impacting 14 regions or countries and 5 central functions. It's a great opportunity to drive innovation, foster a data-first culture, and future-proof our business on a global scale.

What you'll do

As our Chief Data Officer, you'll be at the forefront of our digital transformation, making a tangible impact every day:

  • Shape Our Vision: Develop and lead AXA Partners' global data strategy, ensuring it aligns with our business goals and delivers real economic value.
  • Unify Our Data: Break down regional data silos by establishing a unified global data platform, connecting legacy systems, and standardizing data models for seamless cross-border analytics.
  • Drive AI/ML Innovation: Promote and scale advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning solutions globally, from automated underwriting and risk selection to harmonizing pricing engines.
  • Cultivate a Data Culture: Foster a data-centric mindset across the organization, providing training and championing best practices as a key member of our Data & AI Culture Transformation Steering Committee.
  • Ensure Governance & Quality: Implement robust data governance frameworks, policies for data quality, privacy, and compliance (including GDPR and insurance regulations).
  • Lead Strategic Initiatives: Oversee the delivery of major Data & Analytics projects, collaborating across IT, Transformation, and other functions to achieve measurable results in efficiency and growth.
  • Build and Empower Teams: Manage a dedicated team of around 30 data professionals and co-lead our Extended Data & AI Office teams, functionally guiding approximately 150 specialists worldwide.
  • Collaborate Globally: Work closely with executive leaders across AXA Partners and the wider AXA Group, as well as stakeholders in 14 regions or countries and 5 central functions, to drive alignment and execution.
