As a leading company in the defence sector, we are looking for a Senior FPGA / HDL Engineer - Data Links to join national and European strategic projects associated with the Combat Cloud, contributing to the development of complex digital systems in highly demanding and regulated environments.

You will join a strategic initiative within the Defense programs focused on developing advanced interconnection capabilities, secure communications, and distributed processing, key to future collaborative combat systems.

You will participate in the design of critical systems, with direct impact on real operational capabilities, working in collaboration with highly specialized teams.

• Design and develop HDL modules (VHDL and/or Verilog/SystemVerilog) for Defence embedded systems.
• Define, develop, and execute advanced testbenches for functional verification, using UVM and Assertion-Based Verification methodologies.
• Analyze and optimize digital designs to meet strict area, timing, power, and robustness requirements.
• Implement solutions on FPGA and ASIC platforms, managing constraints and complete synthesis and timing closure flows.
• Collaborate closely with firmware and embedded software teams to ensure correct full-system integration.
• Produce rigorous technical documentation in compliance with defence standards and regulated environments.
• Participate in technical reviews and key digital architecture decisions.
