🙌 You will be a great fit if..
You have built and delivered complex products from start to finish, and you can show us.
You master TypeScript and React, and you have strong opinions about performance, state management, and frontend architecture.
You have a constant growth mindset, and the use of agents has radically changed your development workflow over the past year (while keeping quality and best practices intact!).
You have some backend experience, and you are not intimidated by working end to end across the entire stack.
You have great attention to detail and care about how what you build feels, not just whether it works.
You have a product engineer mindset and a genuine interest in understanding users and solving their problems.
You enjoy working in a team and raising the bar for the people around you.
Our culture and values define who we are and how we work. We believe that how we do things is just as important as what we do. We know this is not the right place for everyone—and that is okay. Here is what you can expect when you join our team:
We aim high: We set ambitious goals and work with determination and passion to transform education. Here you can grow as much as you want, surrounded by people who push you, inspire you, and help you bring out your best.
We are owners: From day one, you will have real impact. We are not here just to execute, but to think, decide, and build. We trust you to take initiative, propose ideas, and see them become reality.
We move fast: We work in a dynamic environment where agility and adaptability make the difference. You will feel the pace, the energy, and the excitement of learning quickly, acting with good judgment, and making things happen.
We are eager to learn: We are curious, we question things, and we share what we learn. Every challenge is an opportunity to improve and keep growing, both individually and as a team.
We are humble: We foster a culture of trust and feedback where everyone has a voice. We listen actively, collaborate, and value ideas for their impact. Here you will find a team always ready to help, share, and celebrate achievements together.
We enjoy the ride: Our impact depends on the people who make it possible. That is why we nurture our culture with trust, flexibility, and well-being. We offer flexible working hours, time off during Christmas week, and flexible compensation. And, of course, we love reconnecting at the team buildings that remind us why we do what we do!
We have a hybrid model, with two days a week at our office in Sant Cugat (Barcelona). Proficiency in Spanish and English is essential, and we highly value Catalan.
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep frontend experience (5+ years) who wants to take part in developing complex applications from start to finish.
What you will do:
Take features from idea to classroom: design content with educators and designers, build it, polish it, measure results, and iterate.
Technically lead the frontend of the content team: architecture, standards, tools, and workflows.
Contribute to other web areas at Innovamat, such as the teacher dashboard where teachers manage academic materials and analyze student progress.
Visit classrooms. The whole team visits schools at least once a quarter: you will see what you build in action and understand the "why" behind what we do.
Your main challenge will be to technically lead the transition of our activity catalog from Unity to the web. We are building the new activity runtime, and we need to lay a solid foundation to achieve the best interactivity, student feedback, scoring, telemetry, and more.
In small, multidisciplinary teams with clear ownership, always keeping sight of our mission to transform education. Here you will find a collaborative environment with high technical standards, a constructive atmosphere, and a culture built on trust, transparency, and belonging.
We continuously evolve our development practices to make the most of AI innovations and grow our capabilities as a team. Everyone has the opportunity—and the responsibility—to learn and grow, and we are driven by the process itself.
We have a hybrid model, with two days a week at our office in Sant Cugat.
