The role

Job Offer: Construction and Transition Manager - MV Electrical Projects

At Grupo INVOIN, we are looking for a Construction and Transition Manager to lead the comprehensive supervision of an electrical project in an operational Data Center environment. The selected person will act as a liaison between the Construction, Operations, and Health and Safety teams, ensuring the correct execution of works and the transition of the facilities toward their operational phase.

What you'll do

  • Supervise daily field works executed by contractors, manufacturers, installers, and specialized suppliers.
  • Verify the correct execution of works in accordance with the design, technical specifications, and applicable regulations.
  • Supervise electrical works in operational facilities, ensuring continuity of service and minimizing intervention risks.
  • Coordinate concurrent activities to avoid interference, incompatibilities, and risks during execution.
  • Validate the quality of the installations and compliance with established technical standards.
  • Review and approve Method of Procedure (MOP) documents before execution.
  • Supervise critical electrical maneuvers, including energizations, isolations, and Medium Voltage operations.
  • Verify compliance with safety measures, including the use of PPE, signage, zone delimitation, and work permits.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in real time during the execution of works.
  • Supervise electrical commissioning activities.
  • Review test protocols, FAT, SAT results, and commissioning documentation.
  • Validate the preparation of the facilities before their energization.
  • Coordinate with the Operations team regarding intervention windows and critical maneuvers.
  • Develop and monitor transition plans and the handover of facilities to Operations.
  • Coordinate the transfer between project, construction, and operations teams.
  • Ensure the availability and review of As-Built drawings, commissioning documentation, and operation and maintenance manuals.
  • Verify operating conditions to ensure that the facilities can be operated correctly from day one.
  • Identify technical, operational, and safety risks proactively.
  • Develop mitigation plans and monitor their implementation.
  • Escalate relevant risks and incidents to Project Management.
  • Coordinate with Operations, project teams, contractors, and manufacturers.
  • Participate in follow-up meetings and prepare progress, risk, and incident reports.
