At iPronics, pioneers in software-defined photonics and creators of the world's first programmable optical switch on silicon, we're looking for a Senior Process Integration Engineer - Optical Active Alignment to help scale our next-generation photonic systems from prototype to high-volume manufacturing. Your work will directly contribute to the deployment of cutting-edge optical switching technologies powering the future of AI networking and data center infrastructure.
As a Senior Process Integration Engineer, you will work at the intersection of photonic design, packaging, manufacturing, and reliability engineering. Your mission will be to develop and optimize optical assembly and integration processes that ensure scalability, yield, and product performance as iPronics continues to grow.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Process Development & Integration: Develop and optimize Active Alignment, Fiber Attach/Fiber Coupling, and FAU assembly processes for optical engine manufacturing.
Manufacturing Scale-Up: Lead the transfer of optical assembly processes from R&D to production, ensuring stable, scalable, and high-yield manufacturing flows.
Supplier & Foundry Collaboration: Work closely with OSATs and manufacturing partners to qualify processes, troubleshoot issues, and support volume ramp activities.
Yield & Reliability Improvement: Perform yield analysis and implement continuous improvement initiatives using SPC, Cp/Cpk, RCA, FMEA, FA, and 8D methodologies.
Product Industrialization: Define manufacturability guidelines, control plans, documentation, and reliability processes to support long-term product success.
