Graphic Designer for the UCC+i

The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into policy and education. ISGlobal has a broad portfolio in communicable and non-communicable diseases including environmental and climate determinants, and applies a multidisciplinary scientific approach ranging from the molecular to the population level. Research is organized in five programs: Climate, Air Pollution, Nature and Urban Health; Environment and Health over the Lifecourse; Global Viral and Bacterial Infections; Malaria and Neglected Parasitic Diseases and Maternal Child and Reproductive Health. ISGlobal is accredited with the Severo Ochoa distinction, a seal of excellence of the Spanish Science Ministry.

• Participate in the Horizon Europe (HE) PULSE-ART, such as support in the creation of graphic materials and preparation of content for social networks and preparation of materials/documentation.

• Develop graphic design for educational materials.

• Participation in meetings to define the graphic design of the different materials.

• Preparation of the graphic design for social media or other platforms.

• Preparation of the graphic design for deliverables of PULSE-ART project.

• Collaboration with other HE projects of the UCC+i ISGloba unit.

We are seeking a Graphic Design specialist to help to develop graphic design materials, as well as short videos and dissemination materials such as presentations to join our Scientific Culture Unit (UCC+i) in the framework of the Horizon Europe PULSE-ART project focussed on culture and education.

ISGlobal's Scientific Culture Unit (UCC+i) promotes access to scientific knowledge and social interest in science through science outreach and education, participation and citizen science around our institution's scientific research. This unit has been established and consolidated in parallel with the commitment to excellence in global health research. Using formal and non-formal methods, it works to ensure a bridge between research and society and to promote an active role for citizens in the generation of knowledge.

• Contract: 15hs/week (part-time) for 13 months

• Salary: According to ISGlobal internal salary scale

• Work-Life Balance: 36 days off per year (23 vacation days + 13 personal days)
