What we're looking for
- At least 4 years of experience in Cloud environment administration.
- Experience in SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) environments.
- Solid knowledge of GNU/Linux and Windows Server systems.
- Experience in Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL database administration.
- Experience with application servers.
- Knowledge of virtualization.
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code through Terraform.
- At least 2 years of experience in hybrid communications with Fortinet and Juniper technologies.
- Experience in SAN/NAS storage.
- Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools.
- GitHub Admin certification or equivalent (essential requirement for the position).
Education & certifications
University degree or technical training related to Computer Science, Telecommunications, or similar areas.

The role
At Izertis, we are looking to expand our team by bringing on a Senior CloudOps Engineer to join one of our specialized areas in Cyberdefense.
What you'll do
- Administer and operate cloud infrastructures in complex, high-availability environments.
- Automate deployments and configurations through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Manage and maintain GNU/Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Administer and optimize Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases.
- Participate in the operation and improvement of application servers and virtualized platforms.
- Apply SRE practices to guarantee the reliability, availability, and performance of services.
- Manage and support hybrid communications based on Fortinet and Juniper technologies.
- Administer SAN/NAS storage environments.
- Implement and use observability and monitoring tools to guarantee the health of the platforms.
- Collaborate on continuous improvement, automation, and optimization initiatives for operational processes.
How you'll work
The work will be performed in Catalonia, with a hybrid work modality, being approximately 99% remote and with occasional visits to the client in Barcelona when the project requires it.
