What we're looking for

  • Higher Degree in OSH in three specialties
  • Complementary training in asbestos identification, ISO systems management, Environment and Energy.
  • Extensive experience coordinating teams of Safety Technicians.
  • Experience as a Safety Manager in Construction/Industrial projects. Expertise in Safety, not just knowledge, in:

• Scaffolding assembly and disassembly

• Surface protection

• Industrial Insulation

• Asbestos

  • Geographical availability to travel between the various projects of the Business Unit.

The role

At KAEFER, we are looking to hire an HSEQ Coordinator for our Levante Business Unit (Cartagena).

the fundamental mission of this role is to ensure compliance with HSEQ standards throughout the BU, plan and direct the local HSEQ strategy in the Business Unit, as well as motivate and generate HSEQ integration across the entire team.

What you'll do

Main duties:

▪ Define, together with the BU Management and the HSEQ Director, the Annual HSEQ planning containing the necessary actions to achieve the objectives of the company's General HSEQ strategy, including the list of necessary human and material resources, as well as the indicators to measure its evolution.

▪ Monitor and control the actions and indicators collected in the Annual HSEQ Planning and define corrective actions in case of deviations.

• Achieve the HSEQ objectives set for the BU.

• Guarantee compliance with legal requirements, what is established in the prevention plan and the company's HSEQ management system, as well as prepare and lead audits or implementation processes for the different certifications.

• Lead and Motivate, generating a climate of HSEQ Integration and compliance in the Business Unit.

▪ Collaborate actively in Business Development through knowledge of the client's activity and strategy to be able to direct HSEQ action plans and any action carried out towards increasing the scope of current contracts, towards securing new contracts in the maximum range of activities offered by KAEFER or leveraging synergies between KAEFER's activities and the client's product or service cycle.

▪ Guarantee compliance with the HSEQ requirements and objectives set by KAEFER for the project(s), those requirements and objectives collected in the KAEFER Prevention Plan, and those set by the client.

▪ Be an active part of the planning and Management of the Business Unit
