About the role

Would you like to contribute to water engineering projects that improve quality of life and strengthen infrastructure resilience? At AECOM, we collaborate with public and private clients to design high-impact technical solutions in water supply, sanitation, and related assets, integrating technical excellence, rigor, and consistency in deliverables.

We are looking to hire a Discipline Coordinator focused on Water Utilities (supply and sanitation), with a solid track record in design and calculation, evolving toward technical coordination, QA/QC, review, and delivery roles. You will have frequent interaction with clients and internal/external stakeholders, acting as the technical reference for the discipline. The position reports to the Water Discipline Lead.

What will you do in this role?

  • Act as the technical reference for the discipline and the main point of contact with the client, maintaining a relationship of trust, aligning expectations, anticipating needs, and defending design criteria and decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead the technical coordination of the discipline across multiple projects, ensuring criteria, priorities, and consistency of deliverables.
  • Apply QA/QC: review and validate calculations, models, specifications, and drawings, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and technical quality.
  • Manage scope, schedule, risks, and resources for the discipline, appropriately assigning the engineers involved to meet delivery commitments.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of standards, guidelines, and best practices for the discipline.
  • Participate in flood risk studies for urban developments and highway and railway projects, as required by the scope.

What you'll get

  • High-impact projects with international reach in the water sector.

  • Demanding, collaborative professional environment focused on technical excellence.

  • Hybrid work model (subject to local policy) and flexibility.

  • Professional development plan and continuous training.

  • Competitive benefits package.
