The role
We are looking for a passionate Platform Engineer to join our ITOps and Infra Engineering team to lead the evolution of our technical solutions on Kubernetes environments.
You will design, operate and evolve key platforms both On-Premise and in Public Cloud, ensuring their stability and scalability and incorporating AI to create new functionalities in the Kubernetes area.
What you'll do
- Platform Evolution: You will design, build, operate, and continuously improve enterprise Kubernetes platforms both On-Premises (RKE2 on VMware) and in the Cloud (AWS EKS and Azure AKS).
- Operational Excellence: You will guarantee the stability, performance, and scalability of clusters through proactive administration and correct lifecycle maintenance.
- Governance and Security: You will define and implement compliance, security, and governance standards (RBAC, network policies, hardening, and vulnerability management).
- Automation and AI Innovation: You will drive automation initiatives with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps, leveraging the use of AI to develop and integrate new capabilities into the Kubernetes ecosystem.
- Cloud Native Adoption: You will work hand-in-hand with Cloud, Infrastructure, and Development teams to enable containerized workloads and accelerate migration from On-Premise to AWS and Azure.
- Observability: You will develop and maintain monitoring standards, dashboards, and observability capabilities to ensure proactive incident management.
- Architecture and Roadmaps: You will contribute to the continuous evolution of the architecture, defining best practices, technical guides, and strategic roadmaps.
- Support and Training: You will offer technical guidance to other engineering teams, producing quality documentation and constantly sharing knowledge.
