Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Between 1 and 3 years of experience in product, technology consulting, operations, or a product-adjacent role, with a desire to grow quickly.

  • Strong Product Management fundamentals: discovery, problem definition, hypotheses, MVP, prioritization, Agile methodologies, incremental delivery, metrics, and impact.

  • An obsession with understanding the problem before building the solution and the judgment to prioritize based on the value we can generate.

  • A service orientation and empathy for the user, along with the ability to question a request when there is a better way to resolve the need.

  • Comfort working with data. You do not need to be a Data Analyst, but you do need to understand that a large part of product decisions are supported by metrics and data.

  • Technological curiosity and a genuine interest in AI and new ways of building product.

  • Autonomy, ownership, structured thinking, and excellent communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to have

Extra points if you have…

  • Experience working with SQL, BI tools, advanced Excel/Sheets, product analytics, or any other way of exploring and analyzing data.

  • Built things on your own: prototypes, automations, small applications, agents, no-code tools, or AI projects.

  • Knowledge of the fintech ecosystem, financial services, business financing, lending, payments, credit risk, or working capital products.

  • Specific experience or knowledge in one of the domains our Product Owners work in: Data & Analytics, Finance, Legal & Compliance, Risk, Sales & Marketing, Operations, or Technology. We do not expect you to know them all; we want a team with different profiles and specialties.

  • Previous experience working closely with development teams or in technical roles.

The role

We have set ourselves the goal of reaching Unicorn status in 2029, and we want to do so by rethinking how we build product. AI is reducing the distance between understanding a problem and being able to test a solution. We are looking for Product Owner Builders: people with strong product fundamentals, obsessed with understanding problems and providing great service to their stakeholders, and eager to learn how to use data, technology, and AI to build solutions with increasing autonomy. We are not looking for you to arrive knowing everything: we are looking for you to want to learn how to work in this new way with us.

What will you learn at Kintai?

•How to use AI as a daily tool to research, analyze, design, build, and make better decisions.

•How to turn business problems into tangible solutions, traversing an increasingly larger part of the path: problem → research → data → hypothesis → MVP → construction → delivery → measurement → learning.

•How to work on real and complex problems of a growing fintech, very close to Product, Tech, Data, and the different business areas.

•How to develop a builder mindset: gain autonomy to test solutions yourself and know when a solution should evolve toward engineering and product at scale.

What you'll do

What will you do on a day-to-day basis?

  • Truly understand the problems in your area: talk to users and stakeholders, observe how they work, seek evidence, and separate real needs from the solutions initially requested.

  • Provide great service to your stakeholders: listen, respond, manage expectations, keep them informed, and ensure their problems move forward without becoming a mere order-taker.

  • Be the owner of the problem and its outcome: from discovery and prioritization to delivery, measurement, and subsequent learning.

  • Design hypotheses and MVPs, work in short cycles, and find the balance between learning fast and building on a solid foundation.

  • Use AI and new tools to create prototypes, automations, workflows, analyses, or functional MVPs that allow for validating solutions before consuming development capacity.

  • Work with data on a regular basis: understand metrics, explore information, perform basic analyses, and be the owner of the data necessary to make decisions in your domain.

  • Collaborate closely with Tech, Data, and other areas to turn validated solutions into robust, secure, scalable, and maintainable products when necessary.

  • Measure the impact of what we do. Your work does not end when we deliver a feature, but when we know if we have solved the problem we wanted to resolve.
