Senior Cybersecurity Incident Responder (hybrid - 2 days on-site in SANT CUGAT - BARCELONA)

A person with critical thinking, autonomy, and extensive experience in defensive cybersecurity environments. We value:

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in incident response and vulnerability analysis.

• Solid knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems and network protocols.

• Deep understanding of common exploits, network attacks, web protocols, phishing, and malware.

• Experience with security technologies

  • EDR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, proxies and log analysis tools.

• Advanced knowledge in security incident management, including:

  • APT, data breaches, lateral movement, privilege escalation.

• Autonomous decision-making in critical technical situations.

• Ability to translate technical findings into clear, executive-level reports focused on regulatory compliance.

• Capacity to lead complex investigations and coordinate teams during incidents.

• Hybrid work model 🏡. 2 days on-site in Sant Cugat

• Flexible hours ⏰: flexible schedule with entry at 8:30 AM and exit at 6:00 PM, with intensive working hours on Fridays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and intensive working hours in summer (July and August) from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

• Monitor and analyze alerts from various sources and determine their potential impact.

  • Respond to cybersecurity incidents, execute mitigation efforts, and participate in post-incident reviews.

  • Conduct threat and vulnerability assessments, and manage remediation efforts.

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve vulnerability tickets in a timely manner.

  • Develop and implement security measures to protect information systems and data.
