The role

From the Human Resources department at Kronospan, we are looking to incorporate a Technician for the Technical Office department. A person with enthusiasm, energy, and proactivity who will collaborate closely with the Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Purchasing, and Prevention departments to develop projects and technical improvements that contribute to the efficiency, safety, and reliability of the facilities.

What you'll do

Tasks to be carried out:

Design and development of mechanical components, structures, equipment, and installations.
Preparation, modification, and updating of manufacturing, assembly, and installation drawings.
Creation of part lists, assemblies, material lists, and technical documentation.
Taking measurements and creating on-site layout drawings.
Sizing and selection of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
Preparation of technical specifications for requesting quotes and purchasing materials or equipment.
Technical coordination with suppliers, external workshops, and installation companies.
Follow-up on the manufacturing, assembly, and installation of projects.
Technical support to Production and Maintenance for resolving issues and improvement proposals.
Control of deadlines, costs, and resources associated with assigned projects.
Review and control of technical documentation for machinery and installations.
Participation in testing, validation, and commissioning of new equipment.
Collaboration on continuous improvement, safety, and industrial process optimization projects.
Updating drawings and "as built" documentation once work is completed.
