Electrical Maintenance Technician

The tasks to be carried out include:

* Preventive and corrective maintenance of the plant's installations and assets, ensuring proper operation.
* Detection and diagnosis of faults/adjustments in elements of the production lines and their resolution.
* Carrying out all periodic inspections required by the plant's machinery.
* Proposing and devising improvements and implementing them in order to reduce the number of breakdowns, increase production, and improve quality.
* Monitoring maintenance tasks through work orders.
Minimum requirements:
- Knowledge:

* Knowledge of automation and hardwired logic. Digital signals of different voltages and analog V/I signals. Siemens PLC programming environments (STEP 7 + TIA PORTAL).
* Knowledge of motors, gearmotors, starters, and variable frequency drives from SIEMENS, SEW, ABB, and Lenze.
* Knowledge of sensors: inductive, capacitive, limit switches, photoelectric sensors, encoders, safety light curtains, etc.
* Knowledge and interpretation of electrical schematics.
* Basic mechanical and pneumatic knowledge, and the ability to replace parts.

* You must be a person eager to learn, active, organized, and autonomous in executing and resolving tasks, working as part of a team and collaborating with the rest of the team members and company departments.
* High capacity for work and for diagnosing complex faults and resolving them in a timely manner with the appropriate quality.
* Work in 5 shifts as a first-class/second-class skilled tradesperson.
