La Mafia se Sienta a la Mesa, a leading Italian-Mediterranean restaurant group with more than 80 locations in Spain, is looking to strengthen its team at the Puerto Venecia (Zaragoza) restaurant with a Kitchen Assistant for weekends. You will be part of a brand established since 2000, recognized for its quality gastronomic offering, carefully curated ambiance, and an experience that combines Italian tradition with culinary innovation. The position is part-time (15 hours per week) under a permanent contract and on-site work, offering the opportunity to grow within an organization that is rapidly expanding nationally and internationally.

We are looking for a dynamic, organized person with a proactive attitude, who wants to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment with high quality standards. Support food preparation, carrying out ingredient preparation, mise en place, and following established recipes.
Execute basic cooking and plate dishes according to the brand's quality and presentation standards.
Keep the workstation clean and tidy, ensuring proper preservation and storage of food.
Strictly comply with food hygiene and safety regulations (HACCP) in all tasks.
Collaborate closely with cooks and supervisors, ensuring smooth coordination and adapting to the pace of service.

Requirements

Valid work permit for Spain.
Minimum of 3 months of experience as a kitchen assistant or in similar positions.
Availability to work Friday nights, Saturdays in split shifts (lunch and dinner), and Sundays in split shifts.
Students or people who wish to combine the position with other activities.
Ability to work under pressure and in high-demand environments.
Training in cooking, food handling, or previous experience in the sector will be valued.
