Requirements

What we're looking for

Demonstrable experience in Python and solid knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
Experience training, fine-tuning, and evaluating classification models, as well as applying fine-tuning techniques and efficient model adaptation.
Knowledge of frameworks such as PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, or similar.
Ability to interpret business needs and transform them into technical solutions based on data and Artificial Intelligence.
Experience in data analysis and model evaluation.

Nice to have

Experience with multimodal models, Vision-Language Models, Computer Vision, YOLO, GCP environments, Jupyter Lab, and MLOps practices will be valued.

The role

At Logicalis Spain we are looking for an AI / Machine Learning Engineer to join a strategic project, participating in the development of advanced Artificial Intelligence solutions focused on natural language processing (NLP), multimodal models, and automatic content classification.

The Data & AI team at Logicalis works with national and international clients, carrying out major projects in data engineering, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics, data strategy, governance, integration, and architecture, covering the entire data lifecycle.

What you'll do

Design and develop data augmentation solutions and synthetic data generation using LLMs, including strategies for handling imbalanced classes.
Train, fine-tune, and validate NLP models for text classification in Spanish and multilingual environments, performing fine-tuning when necessary.
Design and execute experiments to evaluate Machine Learning and Deep Learning models, analyzing results through performance metrics and error analysis.
Work with multimodal information coming from text, documents, and images, participating in the preparation and structuring of datasets.
Translate business requirements into classification criteria, decision rules, and structured prompts.
Design Prompt Engineering strategies for applications based on LLMs.
