Requirements

What we're looking for

Demonstrable experience as a Kubernetes SRE, preferably in managed services and multi-client environments
Solid experience in the administration and operation of Kubernetes and/or OpenShift platforms in production environments
Advanced knowledge of CI/CD processes and practical experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Argo CD or similar tools
Experience working with GitOps methodologies
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex incidents in distributed, containerized, and microservices architectures
Experience in Day 2 operations automation and infrastructure as code management
Proficiency in Ansible and Helm
Experience in developing automations using Python and/or Shell Script
Solid knowledge of Git and continuous integration and deployment practices
Experience working in hybrid, cloud, and on-premise environments
Organizational, communication, and collaborative work skills with multidisciplinary teams

Nice to have

Experience managing cloud environments in AWS, Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform
Experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Knowledge of observability and monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager or OpenTelemetry
Experience with logging and analysis platforms such as Elastic Stack
Knowledge of security applied to Kubernetes and containers, including hardening, RBAC, security policies, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning
Experience with backup and recovery solutions for Kubernetes environments

The role

At Logicalis Spain, we want to hire a Kubernetes-specialized Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Managed Services team, participating in the operation, evolution, and automation of container platforms and CI/CD ecosystems that support critical enterprise environments.

We are looking for a profile with solid technical experience in Kubernetes platforms and automation, who will work in hybrid environments, both on-premise and cloud, guaranteeing the availability, performance, security, and stability levels of the platforms and driving continuous improvement and the adoption of automation and operations best practices.

What you'll do

Administration, operation, and evolution of container platforms based on Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS and/or EKS, applying GitOps methodologies
Maintenance and optimization of continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Argo CD or equivalent tools
Management of deployments, upgrades, configurations, migrations, backups, and platform maintenance activities
Advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex incidents in distributed and high-availability environments
Monitoring of the health, capacity, performance, and availability of production environments, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
Participation in the definition and implementation of operation, observability, security, and automation standards
Automation of operational tasks, deployments, and infrastructure using Ansible and Helm
Development of automation scripts and utilities using Python and Shell Script
Collaboration with Development, Infrastructure, Security, Architecture, and Operations teams
