The role

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with one of the most important food distribution and retail companies, immersed in an ambitious technological transformation process, in the search for a Database Architect to join their Technology team.

What you'll do

• Design and evolve database architecture

• Define conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business needs.

• Establish standards and best practices in modeling, performance, and data governance.

• Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, and Development teams in defining new solutions.

• Participate in technological modernization projects and evolution toward cloud and Lakehouse architectures.

How you'll work

• Hybrid work model (2 days of remote work)

What do we need from you?

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields.

• Experience in designing and architecting enterprise databases.

• Solid knowledge of Oracle Database and data modeling.

• Experience in performance optimization, high availability, and data governance.

• Experience with Lakehouse architectures, Apache Iceberg, and Cloud environments.

• Ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate with different teams.
