The role

We are looking for a Database Administration Manager for a gambling sector company located in A Coruña. The position involves the management and administration of databases to guarantee their optimal performance and availability.

What you'll do

Administer and maintain the company's databases to ensure their availability and performance.
Perform configuration, update, and monitoring tasks for the databases.
Implement security and data backup policies to protect information.
Optimize database performance through continuous adjustments and analysis.
Resolve technical incidents related to the databases efficiently.
Collaborate with the technology team to integrate and improve existing systems.
Prepare technical documentation and reports related to database management.
Guarantee compliance with applicable data protection regulations.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

Engineering degree is essential.
Experience in a large company or consultancy.
Experience in DBs: SQL SERVER, MySQL/MariaDB/MongoDB highly valued.
Advanced knowledge in relational and non-relational database administration.
Experience in the implementation of security and data backup policies.
Ability to optimize database performance and resolve technical incidents.
Knowledge of tools and technologies related to database management.
Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with other departments.
Ability to document technical processes and generate reports.
