🔎We are looking for a DATA ENGINEER to collaborate on the design, leadership, and evolution of our corporate data architecture, ensuring quality, scalability, and readiness for advanced analytics and AI. The role acts as a technical reference for the Data & BI area and works closely with the Data & BI manager, who leads the business vision and prioritization.
Reporting to the Data Team Lead, you will be part of a team of 6 people and will be responsible for:
• Designing, implementing, and evolving the end-to-end data architecture (ingestion, transformation, and consumption), ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Building and optimizing automated, robust, and reliable data pipelines, ensuring data quality, availability, and freshness.
• Defining data models oriented toward advanced analytics and data products, establishing modeling standards and best practices.
• Ensuring data quality, traceability, and technical governance, with automated validations and standard definitions.
• Preparing and enabling datasets for advanced analytics and machine learning, facilitating their integration into business processes.
• Acting as a technical reference for the Data area, collaborating with BI, business, and IT teams, and driving continuous improvement.
• Training in Data Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Data Engineer or in similar roles.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, and ETL tools.
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud environments.
• Valuable knowledge of Big Data tools (Spark, Hadoop, etc.).
• Residency in Sant Cugat, Barcelona, or surrounding areas.
• An analytical, proactive person with teamwork skills and a results-oriented mindset.
