• Degree in Engineering, Technical Engineering, or Bachelor's in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Industrial Engineering.
• IWE (International Welding Engineer) training.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in boilermaking, pressure equipment manufacturing, or metallurgical environments.
• Knowledge of TIG, MIG, MAG, and SAW welding processes, as well as heat treatments, dimensional inspection, and leak testing.
• Proficiency in interpreting drawings and technical manufacturing specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Minimum B2 English level, both spoken and written.

• Training or certification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), IWI, CWI, or ISO 9001 will be valued.
• Experience with tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks will be valued.

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with an industrial company that needs to hire a Quality Engineer to reinforce its team and guarantee quality standards in its manufacturing processes.

Your objective will be to ensure compliance with quality standards and requirements during manufacturing processes, participating in inspection, control, and technical documentation, as well as the management of possible non-conformities.

• Supervise and guarantee compliance with quality standards during manufacturing processes.
• Perform quality inspections and controls in boilermaking processes and the manufacturing of pressure equipment.
• Review and interpret isometric drawings and technical manufacturing specifications.
• Supervise welding processes and review welding procedures (WPS, PQR) and welder certifications (WPQ).
• Interpret results of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), such as ultrasound, industrial radiography, penetrant liquids, magnetic particles, and visual inspection.
• Supervise dimensional inspections and pressure tests, including hydrostatic and pneumatic tests.
• Manage and document possible non-conformities, proposing and implementing corrective and preventive measures.
• Participate in internal and external audits related to quality systems and customer requirements.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain fluid communication with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
