At Paul Marlex we are collaborating with a benchmark industrial company, specialized in the design and manufacturing of high-value-added machinery, in the search for a Process Engineer to join their Engineering and Production team.

What you'll do

  • Analyze, optimize, and standardize manufacturing and assembly processes to improve production efficiency.
  • Identify bottlenecks, waste, and improvement opportunities through time and method studies.
  • Design and implement improvements focused on increasing productivity, safety, and ergonomics of processes.
  • Prepare and maintain technical manufacturing documentation: work instructions, layouts, tooling sheets, and checklists.
  • Participate in the industrialization of new products, defining processes, tools, and validating cycle times.
  • Collaborate closely with the Technical Office, Production, and Quality departments to ensure proper product manufacturing.
  • Define quality control points, manage non-conformities, and monitor production KPIs.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, implementing methodologies such as 5S and proposing improvements in layout and industrial organization.
  • Provide technical support to the production team in resolving day-to-day issues.

What do we need from you?

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent education.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in process engineering within industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of metal-mechanical manufacturing processes, mechanical assembly, and welding.
  • Experience in interpreting drawings and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with industrial ERP systems and CAD tools (SolidWorks is a plus).
  • Analytical profile, results-oriented, with the ability to work cross-functionally with different departments.
  • Residence in the area or availability to work on-site.

We will especially value

  • Experience in manufacturing machinery or capital goods.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement.
