- Material Quality and Approval: Define technical data sheets and specifications, establish material selection criteria, and lead the testing, approval, and validation protocol for packaging in the plant.
- Packaging Quality Control and R&D: Ensure packaging quality standards for new launches and categories (with a focus on bars and flexible/rigid packaging), driving innovation and sustainability projects.
- Sustainability and Regulation: Evaluate sustainable materials, recyclability, and sector-specific regulatory compliance (food, pharma, or consumer goods).
- Supplier Management and Technical Coordination: Technical liaison with material suppliers (film, cardboard, composites) and cross-functional coordination with the Quality, R&D, Operations, and Purchasing areas.
- Technical Team Leadership: Coordinate and develop the capabilities of the Packaging technical team.
