The role

From a company in the metal sector in full evolution, we are looking to bring in a Quality Manager to lead the department at one of its main production plants. This is a strategic position with direct impact on operations, processes, and quality culture, in a demanding industrial environment with international scope.

What you'll do

Ensure quality standards, leading the team and processes, with a balanced focus on KPI management and an active presence on the plant floor. Some of the duties will be:

Lead the quality department at the plant.
Manage and develop a quality team.
Ensure compliance with regulations and certifications (ISO 9001, among others).
Oversee non-conformities, internal/external audits, and improvement plans.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
Participate in international projects (especially in the French market).
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, production, and corporate.
Ensure an adequate quality culture and a good working environment within the team.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

Higher education degree (Engineering valued).
Previous experience in quality management positions (minimum 3 years).
Background in the food sector highly valued; profiles from demanding industrial environments will also be considered (e.g., automotive).
Experience in team management.
Knowledge of quality regulations.
High level of English; French highly valued.
Profile with initiative, orientation toward continuous improvement, and leadership skills on the plant floor.
Ability to manage conflicts, communicate effectively, and generate commitment within the team.
