Requirements

What we're looking for

· Valid OMI certification to operate railway machinery (essential).

· Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Machine Chief or in similar roles with tampers, profilers, stabilizers, etc.

· Technical training: minimum Vocational Training (FP) or Intermediate Degree in a technological field or High School Diploma (Higher Degree will be valued).

· Driver's license and availability for national geographic mobility.

· Proactive, responsible person, with the capacity for teamwork and operational leadership.

Nice to have

· Type A or B licenses will be valued, as well as safety pilot or works supervisor certification.

The role

You will be responsible for the operation, supervision, and proper functioning of the assigned machine (tamper, profiler, stabilizer...), leading the on-board team and ensuring quality and safety standards.

What you'll do

· Supervision and operation of the assigned railway machinery.

· Leadership and training of the personnel that forms part of the crew.

· Management of preventive and corrective maintenance of the equipment, as well as minor repairs.

· Compliance with the quality and safety standards required by the client and by Acciona.

· Creation of a good working environment on the machine, fostering camaraderie and collaboration.
