National Key Account Manager (Substitution)

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Key Account Manager or similar.
• Experience managing large accounts in Large-scale Distribution, preferably in food or FMCG.
• Experience negotiating annual commercial conditions and promotional actions.
• Experience working with P&L, sell-in, sell-out, margin, and budgets.
• Analytical capacity and results orientation.
• Good negotiation, communication, and client management skills.
• Autonomous, organized, and business-oriented profile.

• Experience coordinating merchandising teams or commercial teams will be valued.

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with a company specialized in the production and marketing of plant-based beverages, with a solid international presence. They are currently looking to incorporate a National Key Account Manager to manage and develop the main large-scale distribution accounts.

The selected person will be responsible for managing and developing the main large-scale distribution accounts, defining the commercial strategy for each client, negotiating annual conditions, and identifying new growth opportunities. They will also coordinate an external merchandising team oriented mainly towards the hypermarket channel.

• Manage and consolidate the main large-scale distribution accounts.
• Define the annual plan for each account, establishing sales objectives, volume, promotions, and business development.
• Manage the assortment, monitoring rotation by reference and identifying possible delisting risks.
• Plan and negotiate promotional actions, visibility, and presence at the point of sale.
• Negotiate annual commercial conditions and promotional budgets.
• Monitor the P&L of each client, analyzing sales, volume, margin, and price evolution per liter.
• Analyze sell-in, sell-out, and rotation relative to the budget and the previous year.
• Identify growth opportunities and develop commercial proposals for clients.
• Internally coordinate sales forecasts, promotions, client needs, and incidents.
• Prepare reports, analyses, and presentations for clients and Management.
• Manage an external merchandising team consisting of 4 full-time people and 4 part-time people.
• Define objectives for the merchandising team and monitor results.
• Perform periodic routes with the team to supervise activity at the point of sale.

This is a temporary position to cover a maternity replacement.
