Job Mission

Lead and coordinate the quality department at the plant and with suppliers, ensuring excellence in production processes and the final product. You will assume the management, supervision, and development of the direct inspection and verification team, while also ensuring compliance with homologation standards and control of strategic suppliers. Main Functions to Be Developed

  • Team Leadership and Plant Quality
  • Supervise, coordinate, and organize the activities of the direct team under your charge (verification/receiving inspection technicians and inspectors).
  • Define and implement quality controls on production lines.
  • Analyze internal non-conformities (NC) and develop quality metrics.
  • Coordinate and drive corrective action plans and continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with Operations and Engineering.
  • Supervise receiving inspection of materials and final product.
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure environmental compliance at the plant.
  • Supplier Quality and Reporting
  • Lead the homologation process and conduct follow-up audits for strategic suppliers.
  • Manage quality incidents with suppliers, evaluating technical reports and action plans.
  • Monitor supplier performance KPIs and associated Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
  • Report to Management / Quality Responsibility on plant and supplier performance.

Profile Requirements

  • Education: Higher Level Vocational Training (Industrial Branch) or University Degree / Bachelor’s (Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent).
  • People Management: Ability, leadership skills, or previous experience in directing and coordinating technical teams (verification and inspection personnel).
  • Languages: English B2 / C1 (fluent for management with international clients and suppliers and technical reporting).
  • Previous Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing environments in similar roles.
  • Valuable Knowledge (PLUS):
  • Mechanics / Metal Transformation (PLUS): Basic technical knowledge in sheet metal, boiler making, and welding processes (electronics knowledge is not a priority).
  • Sector Experience (PLUS): Background in the railway sector, railway maintenance, or manufacturing of highly complex technical products.
