At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with a well-known company in the industrial sector, located in the outskirts of Girona, which currently needs to add to its team an experienced WAREHOUSE AND LOGISTICS MANAGER on a permanent basis.

What you'll do

  • Full warehouse management: supervising daily inbound, storage, preparation, and outbound operations of products or materials.
  • Inventory control and management: maintaining precise inventory control, conducting regular stock takes, and managing orders to ensure product availability.
  • Logistics and distribution: coordinating transport, shipping, and receiving operations, ensuring compliance with delivery deadlines.
  • Route optimization: planning and optimizing distribution routes to reduce costs and delivery times, using fleet management systems or route scheduling tools.
  • Staff management: leading, training, and supervising the warehouse and logistics team, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and internal policies.
  • Quality and safety: ensuring compliance with quality standards in the handling and transport of products, and ensuring the safety of facilities and personnel.
  • Budget management: controlling costs and ensuring that department operations stay within established margins.
  • Technology and systems: using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP tools to improve efficiency and operational control.
  • Reports and analysis: generating regular reports to evaluate logistics performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Cross-departmental collaboration: working with other areas such as production, sales, and purchasing to ensure proper planning and stock availability.
