Production Manager (Agricultural and Environmental Sector)

You are the ideal candidate if...

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with an important business group from Girona, specialized in the manufacturing, distribution, and technical advice of products for professionals in the agricultural, environmental, and horticulture sectors, with a marked focus on quality, sustainability, and advisory services. At this time, due to internal structural changes, the organization requires the incorporation of a PRODUCTION MANAGER who brings experience in a similar position, preferably in an SME within the industrial sector.

Leading the Production area comprehensively, and reporting directly to the company's General Management, the main tasks and responsibilities of the selected person will focus on:

• The main mission of the position is to plan, coordinate, and control the organization's productive activities, including the management of the production team and coordination with other departments to guarantee compliance with established procedures and product quality, as well as to optimize available resources to the maximum.
• Assume leadership of the Production area, the OHS area (within the production environment), and the purchasing area.
• In relation to the Production area, they will be responsible for: planning the plant's productive activity on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, guaranteeing the correct execution of manufacturing orders and the monitoring of Quality procedures, as well as managing, leading, and coordinating the production team, consisting of approximately 20 workers, and calculating and controlling the production costs of products and processes.
• In relation to the OHS area, they will be responsible for ensuring the correct use of PPE and guaranteeing compliance with safety procedures.
• In relation to the Purchasing area, they will carry out the processing of orders, both for raw materials and direct sale products, as well as monitoring the evolution of raw material and direct product costs.
• They will also work in a coordinated manner with the Maintenance Department for the planning of maintenance tasks, both preventive and corrective.
• Preparation, implementation, and monitoring of Production-specific KPIs, providing improvements in production processes and automating all those that are possible, and keeping the ERP updated with information regarding stock and the production process.
