Requirements

What we're looking for

Education: Degree/Master's in Supply Chain and International Logistics, Engineering (Industrial/Organization), or Business Administration (ADE).
Experience: Between 3 and 5 years in planning within the automotive sector (Tier 1 or Tier 2 environments), managing international subcontracting.
Technical mastery of MRP/MPS logic and SAP (PP module),
Languages:

English essential high level B2-C1

Spanish and Catalan bilingual/advanced

Nice to have

Cross-functional knowledge of the automotive logistics ecosystem (IATF 16949, Tisax)
Proficiency in EFFI Software and EDI portals

Soft Skills: High analytical capacity, firm decision-making, stress management, transversal leadership, and orientation toward the bottom line.

The role

We are looking for a Production Planning Manager for an industrial metal company in the automotive and metal sector, who will assume a fundamental role in the Logistics department.
Your mission will be to guarantee secure, balanced, and efficient industrial planning of production resources, ensuring compliance with customer needs in terms of timing and service level. You will transform commercial demand into a realistic operational plan within a complex high-volume manufacturing environment (fine blanking stamping processes, assembly, machining, and heat treatments).

What you'll do

Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS), planning both internal production and outsourced operations within the subcontracting network (Spain and Europe).
Convert forecasts and electronic data interchanges (EDI) into executable production plans, optimally sequencing production orders (OF) based on capacity and availability criteria.
Participate in S&OP meetings, aligning strategy with Production, Customer Service, and Procurement to adjust production resources (shifts, overtime).
Supervise the planning parameterization in SAP (PP/MM) and in the EFFI system, guaranteeing the reliability of master data and leading follow-up meetings.
Implement Lean Planning methodologies and APS tools to reduce WIP and optimize general inventory.
