IT Systems Technician

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with a consolidated and leading industrial services company in its sector, located in Olot. We are looking to hire an IT SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN to reinforce the technology area and progressively move towards greater in-house management of systems and cybersecurity.

The main responsibilities of the selected person will focus on:

• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux systems, as well as the Active Directory environment.

• Manage users, permissions, identities, and access within the organization.

• Supervise network infrastructure: Wi-Fi, switches, TCP/IP, firewall, etc.

• Manage and supervise backup and recovery systems.

• Provide user support and resolve incidents related to systems and infrastructure.

• Coordinate and follow up with current external systems and cybersecurity providers, with the objective of progressively bringing these services in-house.

• Identify opportunities for improvement and process automation within the company.

• Participate in the definition and implementation of AI-based solutions to reduce manual and repetitive tasks.
