Environmental Services Consultant

• University degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Forestry Engineering, or equivalent degrees.

• At least 4 years of professional experience in the field of environmental consultancy.

• Experience in drafting environmental impact studies and/or corrective measure projects.

• Knowledge of GIS tools, especially QGIS.

• English level.

• Valid B driver's license.

• Residency in Catalonia and availability to work on-site in Barcelona.

At SOCOTEC Spain, we are looking to hire an Environmental Services Consultant to join our Environmental Services Department in Barcelona, within a context of project growth and development.

The selected person will participate in projects linked to environmental assessment, sustainability, environmental acoustics, environmental site management, and waste management, among other areas.

We are looking for a profile with experience in environmental consultancy and the capacity to assume responsibilities in project management and direction, team coordination, and client liaison.

• Drafting and development of environmental impact studies.

• Preparation of corrective measure projects.

• Participation in environmental assessment and sustainability projects.

• Participation in projects related to environmental acoustics and waste management.

• Support and participation in environmental site management.

• Management, planning, and monitoring of environmental projects.

• Coordination and management of personnel linked to projects.

• Liaison with clients and other involved stakeholders.

• Preparation of technical documentation and reports.

• Use of GIS tools, especially QGIS.
