Transport Control and Operations Technician

You are the ideal candidate if...

· Minimum of 1 year of experience in operational coordination, traffic, or control center positions.

· Proficiency in IT tools, especially Excel.

· Knowledge of road passenger transport regulations.

· High multitasking capacity and real-time decision-making.

· Good communication and coordination skills with various interlocutors.

· Experience with internal operational management systems (HERMES or similar is valued).

· Working day with rotating shifts according to service planning.

· Competitive salary between €26,000 and €28,000 gross per year, depending on experience.

At Marlex, we are collaborating with an important company in the road passenger transport sector, belonging to a growing business group, which is currently actively seeking 1 Control Center Operator to join their team in Palma de Mallorca on a permanent basis.

The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily transport service operations in real time, ensuring compliance with the schedules and standards established by the CTM, the public body that regulates transport services on the island.

What will your mission be in the company?

· Supervise daily compliance with scheduled departures, ensuring they are carried out according to the schedules, routes, and vehicles assigned by the CTM.

· Control service operations in real time, detecting deviations, delays, or service incidents.

· Coordinate the resolution of operational incidents with the traffic department, inspectors, and drivers.

· Monitor bus occupancy and manage, together with the traffic team, possible service reinforcements.

· Record and manage operational incidents in the internal system (HERMES).

· Process claims received through the CTM platform.

· Provide direct support to movement personnel (drivers and inspectors) in the resolution of daily incidents.

· Supervise driving and rest times (tachograph), ensuring compliance with current regulations.

· Ensure the correct communication of service disruptions or incidents to the CTM and internal departments.
