**Front Desk Agent - Four Points by Sheraton Barcelona Diagonal**

We are looking for a friendly, professional and service-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team at Four Points by Sheraton Barcelona Diagonal. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be one of the first points of contact for our guests and will play a key role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience throughout their stay.

What you'll do

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Welcome guests in a warm, professional and efficient manner. * Perform check-in and check-out procedures in accordance with Marriott standards. * Manage reservations, room assignments, guest requests and account inquiries. * Provide guests with accurate information about the hotel, its services and the local area. * Handle telephone calls, emails and other guest communications. * Respond promptly and effectively to guest requests, concerns and complaints. * Process payments, deposits and billing adjustments accurately. * Promote Marriott Bonvoy membership and explain the programme's benefits to guests. * Identify opportunities to promote hotel services and maximise revenue. * Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage and other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience. * Maintain accurate records and ensure that all guest information is handled confidentially. * Follow hotel procedures regarding safety, security, cash handling and data protection. * Maintain a professional appearance and a clean, organised front desk area. * Support colleagues and contribute to a positive, collaborative working environment. * Perform any other reasonable duties related to the position.

**Job Requirements - Front Desk Agent**

  • Previous experience in a front desk, reception or customer service position is preferred. * Studies or training in Hospitality, Tourism or a related field will be valued. * Fluent Spanish and a good level of English are required. * Knowledge of Catalan and additional languages will be considered an asset. * Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. * Friendly, professional and guest-focused attitude. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented in challenging situations. * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy environment. * Team-oriented attitude and ability to collaborate with different hotel departments. * Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel management systems. * Previous experience with Opera or another Property Management System will be valued. * Availability to work rotating shifts, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays. * Legal authorisation to work in Spain. * Commitment to Marriott's service standards, values and culture.
