Our Gijón headquarters requires a WMS Consultant, dynamic and customer-oriented, to provide expert guidance for the implementation of Mecalux's supply chain software. You must contribute to the successful execution of implementations in the field of WMS, Manufacturing, and various supply chain systems. As a role with direct contact with the client, professional treatment at all times, and frequent travel to visit facilities and interact personally with client teams, you will be responsible for the following functions:

What you'll do

Determine the client's business requirements.
Determine how client requirements are addressed with our Easy WMS solution.
Write the functional specification of the system and determine the customizations to be performed.
Establish the system test plan.
Communicate the functional specification to the client to obtain their approval.
Provide feedback to the product team regarding improvement opportunities.

Requirements

What we're looking for

Degree or Engineering with a technical profile (Industrial, Computer Science, Telecommunications, etc.)
More than 5 years of general experience in consulting or more than 2 years of experience in specific WMS (Warehouse Management Software) consulting.
Basic knowledge of the supply chain, logistics, and functional knowledge of distribution.
Communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to individuals and small groups.
Availability to travel approximately 20% of the time to our clients' facilities.
Attitude and commitment to work with clear objectives and deadlines.
High level of English, spoken and written, C1. Fluent conversation.

Nice to have

Experience in WMS implementations.
Experience in reading and writing SQL and report generation.
Experience in barcode labeling.
Experience in communications with ERPs.

Determinar los requerimientos de negocio del cliente.
Determinar cómo se abordan los requerimientos del cliente con nuestra solución Easy WMS.
Escribir la especificación funcional del sistema y determinar las personalizaciones a realizar.
Establecer el plan de pruebas del sistema.
Comunicar la especificación funcional al cliente para obtener su aprobación.
Realimentar al equipo de producto sobre las oportunidades de mejora.

Requirements

What we're looking for

Grado o Ingeniería de perfil técnico (Industrial, Informática, Telecomunicaciones, etc.)
Más de 5 años de experiencia general en consultoría o más de 2 años de experiencia en consultoría específica de WMS (Software de Gestión de Almacén).
Conocimiento básico de la cadena de suministro, logística y conocimientos funcionales de distribución.
Habilidades comunicativas incluyendo la habilidad para presentar información compleja a individuos y grupos pequeños.
Disponibilidad para viajar un 20% del tiempo aproximadamente a las instalaciones de nuestros clientes.
Actitud y compromiso para trabajar con objetivos claros y fechas límite.
Nivel alto de inglés, hablado y escrito, C1. Conversación fluida.

Experiencia en implementaciones de WMS.
Experiencia en lectura y escritura de SQL y elaboración de informes.
Experiencia en etiquetado con código de barras.
